Hallstatt is what I would call picture perfect. The village is situated on the edge of a lake and is surrounded by mountains. When we arrived it was also snowing! It felt like we were in a postcard. This year we decided we would spend Christmas abroad. Salzburg was the destination of choice. I had heard from so many people that Austria was beautiful and the fact that they have christmas markets was a major drawcard. We spent three nights here before continuing on to explore more of Austria.
It seems like a million years ago that I was sunning myself on the beautiful island that is Santorini. Wish I was back quad biking around all of the different towns, drinking delicious wine and taking in the view. 3 days was the perfect amount of time for us to enjoy Santorini.
