Wellington Foodie Bucket List
The hardest thing about saving for my OE (which I depart for tomorrow) was to curb my addiction to EATING OUT! Wellington is crammed with more bars, cafes and restaurants per capita than New York. As a self proclaimed foodie it is no wonder that my weekend normally revolves around food – after work vino’s, brunch, coffee dates, dinners and sunday markets. Although I am super excited to move to London I will miss all the […]

Coromandel Adventure
It is no wonder that the Coromandel is one of my favourite holiday spots in New Zealand. With no shortage of beautiful golden beaches, natural hideaways, native rain forests, all set amongst rural farmland, it is the ideal location for a super relaxing getaway. The Coromandel is located on the East Coast of the North Island and is about an hour and a half drive from Auckland.
Christchurch Getaway
At the beginning of the month I visited Christchurch. Here are a few pictures of my weekend away. I haven’t been down to Christchurch for a few years so it was really great to see all the rebuilding that has taken place since the 2011 earthquakes. New Years on Waiheke
This New Year me and my friends headed to Waiheke Island for a week. We hired a lovely house and embarked on a holiday filled with plenty of sun, beach, wine and laughs. Waiheke Island is situated in the Hauraki Gulf and is about 18km or an hours ferry ride from Auckland. The house we hired was in an area called Onetangi, which has a beautiful beach but is quite far away from the main centre […]
Nelson Christmas
For Christmas this year Hamish and I hopped on a 25 minute plane ride to Nelson and spent four beautiful sun drenched days down there. Nelson is a vibrant city near the top of the south island. It is surrounded by rolling hills and coastal landscapes and is the home to many orchards, wineries and boutique breweries.
Girls Christmas Party
O ur annual Girls Christmas Dinner Party is the highlight of the social calendar. It started a few years ago, and each year it gets better. There has been Mexican, Magical, and Asian Christmases and this year was Under the Sea. It’s your typical christmas party. Who doesn’t love a pot luck dinner with secret santa, games and a choreographed performance to Mariah Carey. Lets not forget Bublé’s Christmas album on repeat, and a bit of […]
