This is my all time favourite slice. I’ve loved it since high school. Back then I would regularly purchase a piece from the tuck shop if I could rake together enough coinage. Who knows why it is called magic slice, but there is no denying that it is simply delicious. The only problem when you bake it is that you want to devour it all.
This recipe is amazing! If you are a fan of cauliflower cheese, you will go crazy for this amped up healthy alternative. I first tried this at my friend Emma’s house and I demanded the recipe off her (I even hounded her on Facebook when she hadn’t sent it to me within a few days). Charley Noble has a similar dish at their restaurant, and this is where Emma first got her inspiration to make […]
Wellington On a Plate was made for me. Two weeks of the year when you don’t have to feel bad about eating out everyday and trying to engulf as many burgers and fries as possible. It produces a beautiful red colour and also makes things moist (everyones favourite M word). It was time to bake a cake as it was my friend Zoe’s birthday. Zoe also shares a passion for […]
Larb was one of my favourite meals when I went to Thailand, so I had to re-create this. If you get the chilli’s from the supermarket this salad can be quite mild, so add some more if you want to amp it up. Serves 4 Ingredients: 1 tablespoon peanut oil 500g lean pork mince 1 stem lemon grass, pale section only, finely chopped 1 fresh long green chilli, finely chopped 60ml (1/4 cup) fresh lime […]
