Mains / Recipes / Snacks and Appetizers

I absolutely love zucchini. This recipe is not only super easy and quick, but it goes well with most main dishes; especially mediterranean or italian flavours. It is also a great way to increase your vegetable intake for the day. I am normally quite pedantic when it comes to ingredients and their quantities but these boats don’t require any measurements. Enjoy!

This recipe is amazing! If you are a fan of cauliflower cheese, you will go crazy for this amped up healthy alternative. I first tried this at my friend Emma’s house and I demanded the recipe off her (I even hounded her on Facebook when she hadn’t sent it to me within a few days). Charley Noble has a similar dish at their restaurant, and this is where Emma first got her inspiration to make […]

September has proven to be a busy month for me. Luckily, I have bought a jazzy new camera (Fujifilm X-M1) to capture all of the fun. Here are a few snaps: Skiing in Ohakune: The drive to Ohakune takes around 4 – 5 hours (more like 5 for the Barina) and this is the best sight you will see on the way up.

This is the best granola recipe! It is freaking delicious and the best part is that its healthy. It has a lovely crunchy texture due to all of the tasty nuts that get baked in coconut oil and maple syrup, and then the cinnamon really takes it to the next level. This is a recipe from Deliciously Ella.

Last saturday me and my friends decided to have a pot luck dinner. I said I would do dessert, as it would be a good challenge for me since I normally pick to do savoury dishes over sweet. Currently, I am obsessed with My Kitchen Rules. Everyone on the show always makes their own pastry so I thought I would give it a go. This is a recipe from Annabel Langbein’s book, Simple Pleasures.

Baked Eggs, Round Two!

Breakfast / Food / Recipes

I absolutely love baked eggs for breakfast! I know I have already posted a recipe for baked eggs on here, but this one is different, and maybe even more delicious! The first baked eggs recipe I posted has a tomato base, but this one has more of a creamy base. So depending on your mood you can pick which one you want to cook for an easy brunch. You can also vary the filling to […]

Ever get home from work and you’re hungry, tired, and so confused as to what to cook? This is the meal for you! This is so quick, and easy. It is definitely my go to meal. Whenever I ask my boyfriend what I should cook, he always suggests this. And it is actually kinda healthy, which is great! This meal would feed 4 girls easily. But, if you are super hungry or you have boys […]
